Kailash Mansarovar Yatra – Helicopter

Mount Kailash (6,638m) and Lake Mansarovar, located in Tibet, are among the holiest pilgrimage sites for Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Bon followers. Mount Kailash is believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva, and a sacred Kora (circumambulation) around it is considered highly spiritual. Lake Mansarovar, situated at an altitude of 4,590m, is revered for its pure waters, where pilgrims take a holy dip to cleanse sins and attain spiritual liberation. The journey is both a spiritual and adventurous experience, offering breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, deep cultural significance, and challenging high-altitude trekking.

Day 1: Arrival Day – Lucknow to Nepalgunj

  • Group arrival at Lucknow

  • Road transfer to Nepalgunj

  • Hotel check-in, welcome drink & rest

  • Evening briefing, duffel bag & down jacket distribution

Day 3: Simikot → Hilsa (Heli) → Purang

  • Helicopter flight to Hilsa (3700 m)

  • Walk across suspension bridge (Nepal–Tibet border)

  • Immigration formalities

  • Drive to Purang (3800 m)

  • Evening free to explore local market

Day 5: Mansarovar → Darchen

  • Morning Hawan & Pooja near lake

  • Spiritual Mansarovar rituals (no direct bathing)

  • Drive to Darchen (4675 m)

  • Preparation for Kailash Parikrama

Day 2: Nepalgunj → Simikot (Flight)

  • Morning scenic flight to Simikot (3050 m)

  • Hotel/Guest house check-in

  • Visit Shiva Mandir

  • Acclimatization & rest

Day 4: Purang → Lake Mansarovar

  • Scenic drive to Holy Lake Mansarovar (4550 m)

  • Mansarovar Parikrama (by vehicle)

  • Rituals, meditation & holy water collection

Day 6: Darchen → Tarboche → Dirapuk (Trek)

  • Drive to Tarboche

  • Visit Yamadwar

  • Trek ~12 km to Dirapuk Monastery

  • North Face Darshan of Mount Kailash

Day 7: Dirapuk → Dolma La → Zuthulphuk

  • Trek via Dolma-La Pass (5640 m)

  • Descend to Gaurikund

  • Continue trek to Zuthulphuk

Day 9: Hilsa → Simikot → Nepalgunj

  • Helicopter to Simikot

  • Flight back to Nepalgunj

  • Celebration dinner
    Stay: 4★ Hotel | Meals: B/L/D

Day 11: Zuthulphuk – Saga

  • Complete final stretch of Parikrama

  • Drive back to Saga

  • Accommodation: Standard Hotel

Day 13: Drive Back to Kathmandu

  • Complete China exit and Nepal entry formalities

  • Drive to Kathmandu

  • Grand celebration dinner for successful Yatra completion

Day 8: Zuthulphuk → Zongdo → Purang → Hilsa

  • Short trek to Zongdo

  • Drive back to Purang

  • Continue drive to Hilsa

Day 10: Nepalgunj → Lucknow (Departure)

  • Breakfast & check-out

  • Transfer to Lucknow

  • Yatra ends with divine memories 🙏

Day 12: Saga – Kerung / Nyalam

  • Drive back towards Nepal border

  • Border formalities

  • Accommodation: Tourist Standard Hotel
